Tuna Egg Omelet (Quick Protein Breakfast)

Mornings are always busy unless it’s a lazy Sunday morning! We always tend to skip breakfast due to our busy schedules, but this is our biggest mistake. I always try to make something quick to have in the morning for my husband or myself and that is where these tuna egg omelets were born on a busy Monday morning, taking into consideration high protein, tummy-filling quick breaky!

Equipment

  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Fork
  • 1 Frying pan
  • 1 Flat Spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Eggs
  • 150 g Tuna 1 can
  • 1 Small red onion
  • Bell peppers few chopped
  • 2 Green chilies
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Crushed pepper
  • 1 tbsp Butter or oil
  • 2 slices Cheese or grated cheese optional

Instructions
 

  • Add eggs and tuna into a bowl.
  • Finely chop the onions, bell peppers and chilies and add it to the bowl.
  • Now add all the spices (chili powder, pepper & salt).
  • Beat the egg mixture using a fork and on to the heated pan add the butter to melt and then pour the egg mixture to the pan and close the lid.
  • Make sure the stove is set in medium heat, once the edges of the egg turn golden brown, flip the egg to other side using a flat spatula.
  • Now sprinkle the cheese on the egg and close the lid. Your quick high protein breakfast is ready! Enjoy!
